A little story about my work:
The Good Design and the Great Design
The Good Design only did exactly what it was told to. The Good Design was always safe and didn’t try anything new. (The Good Design was never very industrious...) This Good Design was never heard of again.
The Great Design liked to try new things and to ask the project what it needed. (Projects need a sympathetic ear from time to time.) The project needed a bit more work to be really good. Perhaps the design was too cluttered, or maybe not interesting enough. The problem may lie in the colors or just the font choice. Move something here, jostle something there. After a bit more effort, the project was finished. It was graphically perfect in nearly every way. Many people heard of the Great Design, and it became slightly famous.
I always go after the Great Design.
I was born in Youngstown, Ohio, where I grew up and was home-schooled straight through high school. When I was 13, I received two magical items. One was a computer with image editing software and the other was a book with instructions for the use of polymer clay. When I began to learn the power of these items, I knew that I would devote my life to creating cool things. I graduated from Youngstown State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. (And a lot of B.S. in clay.) I've since gone on to do many exciting things and am currently pursuing an MFA in Motion Design.
